The Joint Establishment of the Center for Resilient Communities and Social Entrepreneurship

Continuing its serious efforts to strengthen Indonesia’s social and economic fabric, the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Power Pro Pte. Ltd. to jointly establish the Center for Resilient Communities and Social Entrepreneurship.

The institution will uphold principles of social justice, Islamic values, and inclusive development, while pioneering solutions to environmental challenges in Indonesia by enhancing entrepreneurial capabilities within families and local communities.

Initial Objectives of the Center:

• Promoting Social EntrepreneurshipEncourage innovative and sustainable business models that meet community needs.

• Strengthening Community ResilienceDevelop adaptive strategies to help communities survive and thrive amidst environmental, economic, and social changes.

• Advancing Collaboration and ResearchFacilitate interdisciplinary research and practical solutions through strategic partnerships.

In addition, the Center will undertake feasibility studies, design business collaboration plans, and strengthen community capacity and knowledge through coordinated efforts with government agencies, international organizations, and private sector partners.

This initiative aligns with PBNU’s mission to empower society and promote social harmony, while complementing Power Pro Pte. Ltd.’s international commitment to innovation and sustainable development.
